Greetings Companions!
Spring is in the air and while it has been wet, I’ll take it over the snow and cold. Our household started March with the septic not draining as the ground was too frozen and created a cap where the sewage would not drain into the ground. We found this out one morning as there was a growing foul-smelling puddle on our driveway. To top it off we had a nice ice storm a day or two before and there was no way to get a septic company to our house. It was a fun week!
A week later our dog Apollo decided it was his turn, with two days of vomiting and seven days of loose stool. We later found out that he ate half a teabag. I knew that caffeine is toxic to dogs, so I called the vet and they said that his symptoms fit with the caffeine poisoning. Luckily it was only vomiting and diarrhea, it could have been much worse. It was a rough go, but he is over it now and just as crazy as usual.
If you happen to see Companion Chris Potts in your travels, be sure to congratulate him on receiving the Meritorious Service Award. He is definitely a deserving Companion of this award. Congratulations again Companion Chris.
Next month I will be traveling to Indiana’s Grand Session and look forward to the warm hospitality that I am sure they will give to Lady Sandy and me. We are looking forward to the trip.
Fraternally,
