JANUARY TRIPLE TAU

Greetings Companions,

On December 2nd, 1996, the band Counting Crows released a song called “A Long December” Their Lead singer Adam Duritz was inspired to write the track after his friend was hit by a car, making the song about reflecting on tragedy with a positive disposition. This song has been on my mind this past week as I heard myself saying those same words.
December started out with my Mother-in-Law being hospitalized and incubated on a ventilator for over two weeks with Covid. Happily, she survived and is recovering, although
slowly. Two weeks without moving causes a person to lose muscle and she lost 45lbs worth. After lots of physical therapy and rehabilitation, she came home on Christmas Eve, therefore
we are calling her our Christmas Miracle. So too, like Adam Duritz, we are reflecting on a  tragedy with a positive disposition.

It’s been “A Long December” and I am glad to see it come to an end.

Here’s to the New Year. May we all be blessed with a fantastic 2022!

Fraternally,
Jeffery A Heaven
